AFCON 2017: Gabon and Guinea-Bissau draw in opening match

The 2017 Africa Cup of Nations tournament (AFCON), has opened in Gabon with the First Group A match between host nation Gabon and Guinea-Bissau ending 1-1.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang scored the first goal in the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations Tournament underway in Libreville, Gabon.

The first goal happened five minutes into the second half in the opening match between host Gabon and debutants Guinea-Bissau.

Gabon is hosting its second edition of the tournament after co-hosting with Equatorial Guinea in 2012.

On the struck of full time, debutants Guinea-Bissau equalized in the 90th minute bringing the score line to Gabon 1, Guinea-Bissau 1.
