Northern Region Parliamentary caucus congratulates Haruna Iddrisu 

The Northern Region Caucus of Parliament has congratulated the MP for Tamale South, Haruna Iddrisu on his elevation to the high office of Minority Leader of the 7th Parliament of the Fourth Republic. 

The group said it is delighted at his nomination by the Leadership of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and subsequent endorsement by the Minority and the entire Parliament. 

A statement signed by the Secretary to the Caucus, Inusah Fuseini, said the party and the entire Minority are confident that under Mr Iddrisu's leadership, the minority side will offer alternative policy options for the NDC in opposition and also criticize constructively and objectively the New Patriotic Party (NPP) government in Parliament, to advance the course of democracy.
