WILDAF unhappy with low women ministerial appointments

WILDAF, a gender advocacy organisation has asked President Akufo-Addo, to fulfill his promise to appoint 30% of women into public office. 

WILDAF is worried about the short fall in women in the ministerial nominations made so far.  

At a media encounter in Accra, the Board Chairperson of WILDAF, Magdalene Kanai, demanded that subsequent appointments should have gender equity since the current appointment has only 25% of women representation.
