COCOBOD Boss directed to handover office The Chief Executive Officer of Ghana Cocoa Board, Dr Stephen Opuni, has been asked to hand-over his office to the Agricultural Minister designate, Dr Owusu Afriyie. In a statement signed by the Secretary to the President, Nana Bediatuo Asante, said in pursuant to Section 14(1) of the Presidential (Transition) Act, 2012 (Act 845) and paragraph 6 of the schedule thereto, the CEO ceases to hold office. The statement further indicated that in view of the urgency of the matter, Dr Opuni should hand over and cease to act as CEO not later than 5pm today (Jan. 13). GBC
