President Akufo-Addo Justifies Creation Of Six New Ministries
 
President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has justified the creation of six new ministries saying they will work directly under the Office of the President. 

There has been public criticism of the new administration over the creation of the Ministries of Monitoring and Evaluation, Regional Reorganisation, Planning, Special Development, Northern Development and Inner Cities and Zongo Development with some describing them as a duplication of existing ministries. 

At a news conference at the Flagstaff House to announce the third batch of Ministerial nominees, President Akufo-Addo said these ministries will draw their budget from the office of the President.

President Akufo-Addo also called on Parliament to expedite action in vetting the nominees.
