January marked as the longest and financially challenging month of the year

January has unofficially been described by workers as the most difficult, longest as well as financially challenging month of the year.  

These descriptions have arisen due to the fact that December salaries are usually paid early as compared to other months and extra spending on Christmas and new year festivities. 

Therefore, the management of an individual budget is critical in January.  

Radio Ghana spoke to some workers to find out how they intend to manage their finances for the remaining days of the month.
