Haruna Iddrisu heads Minority in Parliament 

The current majority in Parliament has nominated and accepted the Member of Parliament (MP) for Tamale South, Haruna Iddrisu as their Leader in Parliament.  

According to sources, he was proposed by General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Johnson Asiedu Nketia at a meeting with the party's caucus.  

He beat MP for Ketu North and Chairman of the Finance Committee of Parliament, James Klutse Avedzi, to the top position. 

MP for Wa West, Joseph Yileh Chireh who was part of the meeting that took the final decision, said the decision was unanimous.
