Parliament dissolves at midnight today

All is set for Ghana’s Parliament to inaugurate the 7th Parliament of the 4th Republic at a Swearing in Ceremony.

The event will take place at 12:05am exactly on the 7th of January, 2017. 

A new Speaker of Parliament and two Deputy Speakers will also be selected at the same event.  

Members elect to Parliament are expected to be seated in the Chamber by 11:00pm.

The event will be telecast live by selected Media Houses nationwide.
