Public not to encroach on fire hydrants

The Ghana National Fire Service has been assessing the state of fire hydrants and how readily they can be accessed for use when there are fire outbreaks.

In this regard, the service has inspected fire hydrants in the Central Business District of Accra.

The Accra Regional Commander of the Service, DCFO Ebenezer Simpson who led the team advised the public not to encroach on such facilities because they play a critical role in firefighting.
