Two LPG Stations Closed Down in Accra

The Ghana National Fire Service Thursday closed down two Liquefied Petroleum Gas filling stations at Amasaman and Pokuase in the Ga West Municipality, for failing to meet fire safety requirements.  

The two were closed down after personnel of the Ghana National Fire Service embarked on inspection of filling stations in parts of Accra.  

The inspection comes after eleven people died and several others injured in an explosion that occurred at the Louis Gas Station behind the International Trade Fair Centre in La, Accra.
