NPP’s proposed independent prosecutor’s office is needless -Nduom

The Progressive Peoples Party, PPP, says plans by the NPP to establish an independent prosecutor's office to fight corruption is needless.
 
What the incoming government must concentrate on is the separation of the Attorney General's Office from the Minister of Justice.

President-elect Nana Akufo-Addo has argued that the Independent Prosecutors Office will be devoid of political influence and will help him fight corruption which has plagued the country.
 
But speaking at a news conference Thursday, the 2016 presidential candidate of the PPP, Dr Papa Kwesi Nduom said de coupling the AG's office is the best way to go.
