Benjamin Netanyahu criticizes speech by U.S Secretary of State on Israeli-Palestinian issues

Israeli leader, Benjamin Netanyahu has condemned as biased a speech by outgoing US Secretary of State, John Kerry on Israeli-Palestinian issues.

Mr Kerry said the prospect of a peace deal based on a two-state solution is in grave jeopardy.
 
He said Israeli settlement building on occupied land is a major problem.

Mr Netanyahu said he is disappointed with the speech, which he described as "unbalanced" and "obsessively focused" on settlements.
