President-Elect, Nana Addo Ends Eastern Regional ‘Thank You Tour' Ghana's President-elect, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo, ended his 'Thank You Tour' in the Eastern Region with an assurance to the public that prudent measures will be put in place to fulfil the campaign promises. He said the NPP government will do all it can to ensure that private sector is improved to help boost the economy since it is the engine of growth. Addressing the chiefs and elders of the Kwahu Traditional Area at Mpraeso in the Kwahu South District of the region, said the one district one factory and one million dollar fund for each district will be materialised. He commended the people of Kwahu especially those in the Abetifi, Mpraeso and Nkawkaw Constituencies for always helping the party to retain the seats. According to him the average votes obtained in the Kwahu area in the elections was about 71% showing the confidence reposed in him as their Presidential candidate. Nana Akufo Addo therefore called for their cooperation to enable him achieve his dreams. In his welcome address, the Acting President of the Kwahu Traditional Area, Nana Asiedu Agyeman, congratulated the President elect for his victory in the elections, adding that it is a herculean task and pledged their support to him in his tenure of office. Nana Akufo Addo, after expressing his gratitude to the chiefs and elders at the Traditional Council, addressed the party faithful who were in the party's paraphernalia at the forecourt of the Council.
