Parents tasked to treat children equally 

Parents have been advised to avoid discriminating against recalcitrant children. 

The Proprietor for the GNAT Canteen in Wa, Mrs Brandina Choka who gave the advice said parents often tend to love and protect obedient children to the disadvantage of those they call recalcitrant. 

Mrs Choka was speaking on the sidelines of an end of year party for selected children in Wa.

The party was organised by her outfit, Excellent Home Ventures and brought together children from diverse religious backgrounds to mark the Boxing Day.

Mrs Choka urged parents to pay a greater attention to the needs of wayward kids in order to win their minds. 
Mrs Choka said such entertaining episodes are relevant to the development of a child as it helps them to overcome stress as well as socialize.

She called on parents to patronize such services and also use them as baits to get the children to work harder at school.  

While they were grateful to their parents, some of the children who spoke to GBC’s Radio Ghana called for more of such programmes.
