Priest admonishes Christians to extend Christmas to deprived


The Parish Pastor of the Teshie Victory Chapel of the Global Evangelical Church, Reverend Maxwell Bonuedi has admonished Christians not to centre the celebration of Christmas to the families but extend it to the deprived in society. 

According to him the Christmas season is a time of showing love and compassion to one another, bearing in mind that Jesus Christ is love. 

In a sermon titled peace, Reverend Bonuedi said Ghanaians must continue to show love to each other irrespective of any differences, emphasizing that the just ended elections must not separate us. 

At the Life Empowerment Chapel, children were feted to a variety of dishes as the day has been dedicated to them. 

They staged a drama, and sang Christmas songs to entertain the congregation. 

In a message, 15 year old Peggy said there is a gift in a gift implying that the content of every gift must be appreciated rather than whatever the gift was placed in.  

Delivering his Christmas Sermon, The Head Pastor of the Victorious Child Ministry in Tema New Town, Prophet Micheal Addae Mensah urged Members to be mindful of the kind of people they follow and associate with in life. 

He said this is critical for their success in the New Year since these people will influence them positively or negatively.

At the ICGC Joy Temple at Ashaley Botwe in the Adentan Municipality, the Resident Pastor, Rev Godson Ashiagbor focused on the importance of Giving as exhibit by the “Three Wisemen”.
