'Don’t reduce Christmas to immoralities' – Rev. Aboagye-Adjei

The General Superintendent of the Victorious Light Chapel International, Rev. Ismael Aboagye-Adjei, has cautioned Christians against using the Christmas festivities to indulge in fornication, excessive alcohol intake and other immoral acts. 

But rather use the Christmas period to reflect on their lives, thank God for being good to the country by ensuring an incident free election. 

He said the period signifies the birth of Jesus who came to atone for the sins of humanity and must not be reciprocated with sin. 

They should also use the period to reconcile with their neighbors’ and forgive those who may have offended them in the past. 

He told Radio Ghana that people have every course to celebrate but that must be measured to avoid dangers or acts that offend the laws of the land. 

Rev. Aboagye-Adjei called on the political authority to make conscious effort at training the youth with hard work, sacrifice, dedication and integrity so that they will be better positioned to take over the mantle of leadership in the near future. 

He prayed for both the outgoing and incoming governments and urged the religious to constantly intercede for the country to divine guidance and protection.
