Minority in Parliament refuse to take part in approving new loans 

The Minority Caucus in Parliament says it cannot be part of the unilateral decisions by the government to have parliament approve loans and project agreements during this transition period. 

The Caucus stated that it considers such processes and decisions illegitimate. 

Addressing a news conference today (December 22), in Parliament, the Minority leader Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu, explained that the spirited attempts to have parliament approve loans in what he termed injury time of President Mahama's administration do not inure to good democratic governance practices.

The  Minority leader Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu complained about the fact that parliament has not been served with copies of handing over notes as stated in the presidential transition act.
