Nana Addo to reposition Ghana as financial service hub in Africa President-elect, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, has promised to implement strategies aimed at re-positioning Ghana as an International Financial Service Centre in Africa. He said he will formalise the economy through a national data base using the national identification system as the primary identifier. It will be linked to database of the police, NHIS, passport office, DVLA among others. The President-elect was addressing members of the Private Enterprise Federation in Accra. He promised to stabilize the currency exchange rate for the long term through prudent and disciplined economic management. GBC
