Ban on importation and sale of fire crackers still in force 

An Executive Instrument by the Ministry of Trade which prohibits the importation and sale of fire crackers is still in force.  

As such, every year, the Police come out to warn and advise importers and traders to observe the ban.  But to what extent is this ban adhered to.  

Radio Ghana finds out from the Greater Accra Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Afia Tengeh whether enough education has been done to assist importers to observe the ban.
