Gas explosion near Trade Fair

Reports reaching GBC’s Radio Ghana indicate that there is a gas explosion behind the Trade Fair Centre, La.

The explosion occurred at a filling station at Labadi in the Greater Accra region.

Five people have been confirmed dead and 12 more injured. 

The cause of the fire is however not known but police and fire fighters are on the scene to ensure safety.
