Be transparent to labour demands - ICU tells President-elect

Ghana's industrial sector has witnessed some turbulent times in the recent past. 

Talk of the numerous strikes and labour unrest as a result of demands for pay increase. 

Will the in-coming Nana Akufo Addo government succeed in stabilising the industrial front and make it free from strikes in the coming years? 

In an interview with GBC’s Radio Ghana, the General Secretary of the Industrial and Commercial Workers Union, ICU, Solomon Kotei, believes the President-elect already knows the grievances of labour as seen in his version of the state of nation address while in opposition. 

He called on Nana Addo to be proactive and transparent to labour demands to minimise the strikes.
