GBC To Telecast Live Transitional Team Inauguration

The Ghana Broadcasting Corporation, (GBC) will this afternoon, (17 hrs GMT) broadcast live the inauguration of the transition team to oversee the transfer of power from the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) to the New Patriotic Party (NPP). 

The team will be co-chaired by President John Dramani Mahama and the President-elect, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo. 

The event will be live all GBC television and Radio Stations across the country. 

Key members of the NDC include the Chief of Staff, Julius Debrah, and Madam Hannah Tetteh, Foreign Affairs, on the NDC side and former Finance Minister in the President Kufuor era, Osafo Marfo and Ken Ofori Attah on the NPP side, among others. 

The team is expected to work till the swearing-in of the incoming President elect, Nana Akufo Addo
