Ghanaians asked not to pass quick judgement on EC over hitches during special voting

The National Director of Evangelism of the E. P Church, Rev Emmanuel Antwi-Tumfuor, has advised Ghanaians not to use hitches experienced during the Special Voting to pass quick judgment on the officials of the Electoral Commission.
 
He said this is the time to make constructive suggestions to help the EC to rectify the problems of the special voting towards a hitch-free general election on Wednesday December 7. 
 
Rev Emmanuel Antwi-Tumfuor noted that this week offers another golden opportunity for Ghanaians to conduct themselves to ensure successful polls to further consolidate   democratic governance.

He said this at a special welcome service to formally induct him as the Ho-Bankoe District Pastor of the E.P Church in the Volta Region.

Rev Emmanuel Antwi-Tumfuor said having heard the campaign messages of the various contestants about their development vision for the country, by voting on Wednesday, the citizens will give their verdict on the best candidate whose development vision will serve the overall interest of the nation.
 
He said Ghanaians should be commended for sustaining the unity in diversity after six successful elections. 

He stressed the need to continue to tap into the positive sides of ethnic diversity to accelerate progress towards a prosperous society.

Rev. Antwi-Tumfuor said as a people we must make conscious effort to shun any partisan parochial interest, which only creates divisiveness, hatred, unnecessary suspicion and apathy.
