President Mahama Declares 3 Days Of Fasting And Prayers For Continuous Peace And Stability In Ghana President John Dramani Mahama, has declared three (3) days of national fasting and prayer for continuous peace and stability in Ghana. The president is urging Christians and Muslims including all people of faith to dedicate their specific days of worship- Friday, Saturday and Sunday to fast and pray for the nation ahead of the forthcoming December 7, elections. A statement signed by the Minister for Communications, Dr. Edward Omane Boamah, said, the president believes that through fasting and prayers, supported by appropriate measures and actions on the part of all stakeholders, Ghana will once again demonstrate to the world that, the country is not only the beacon of hope for Africa’s Democracy, but also a nation ready and willing to continue on the path of progress and prosperity for all.
