Strategic Thinkers Network Petitions The US And UK Embassies To Sanction Politicians Who engages In Violent Behavior

Strategic Thinkers Network, a policy think-tank has petitioned the US and UK embassies to act swiftly on their decision to sanction any politician who engages in inflammatory and violent behavior.
 
At a news conference in Accra, the Network said the decision by the embassies is not out of place as speculated by sections of the public.

The Network believes that the move will serve as a deterrent if the embassies indeed adhere to their decision.
 
While applauding the UK and the US, the Network is also encouraging other embassies in Ghana to consider such a move to ensure peace in the country.
