Inter Party Youth dialogue to curb electoral violence underway in Accra Recent clashes between supporters of rival political parties, particularly the NDC and the NPP, have raised concern about security and the involvement of the youth in violence with barely three weeks to the elections. First was the Odododiodoo constituency where some youth are alleged to have exchanged fire, then a recent one just close to the Nima residence of the main opposition leader and Presidential candidate of the NPP Nana Akufo-Addo. To ensure these skirmishes do not degenerate into something uncontrollable, youth organisers of the six main political parties contesting this year's election, that is the NDC, NPP,CPP,PNC,PPP and NDP, are meeting at an inter-party youth dialogue today to brainstorm and get them to commit to violence- free campaigns.
