AWDF marks 15th anniversary with call to prioritise girl-child education The Co-Founder of African Women's Development Fund (AWDF), Bisi Adeleye-Femi has underscored the need for all to embrace the prospects of girl-child education. She said for far too long, the African continent has lagged behind in championing the issue, a situation she described as an affront to the rights of the girl-child. Speaking at the Fund's 15th anniversary, Mrs. Adeleye-Femi said the priority of the Fund is to support feminist agencies and organisations to sensitise the public on the need to include women in the decision making process.
