Psychiatric Nurses strike over inadequate logistics

A section of Psychiatric Nurses in Accra yesterday embarked on a sit down strike to press home their demands for basic logistics, medication and other consumables in order to discharge their duties professionally. 

In an interview with Radio Ghana's Abraham Donkor, the Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the group, Philip Frimpong Okyere, said the hospital lacks medication, adequate food for the patients among others.
