EC to brief parliament on preparation towards December Polls 

Parliament will meet the Electoral Commission (EC) next week. The meeting, which will be a Committee of the Whole, is expected to have the Chairperson of the EC, Mrs. Charlotte Osei briefing members on the preparations towards the election. 

The MP for Okaikwei Central, Patrick Yaw Boamah, brought up the issue as the House discussed the business statement for next week. 

The Majority Leader, Alban Bagbin, said a number of committee meetings have been tabled for next week and the meeting with the EC is one of them. 

The House will among other businesses next week, consider separate agreements between the government of Ghana and the governments of China, Seychelles, Sudan, Cuba and Turkey on the Visa exemption for holders of diplomatic, official and service passports.
