Reject NPP’s 2016 manifesto – VEEP tells Ghanaians Vice President Kwesi Amissah-Arthur has called on Ghanaians to reject the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP’s) 2016 manifesto, describing it as incoherent and political opportunism based on flawed analysis of the country’s socio-economic challenges. He said the NPP’s manifesto which incorporates Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia’s lectures, exhibits weak understanding of economic concepts. Addressing students and authorities at the Cape Coast Technical University on the first day of his four-day campaign tour of the Central Region, Mr. Amissah-Arthur said if the NPP comes to power, it is going to plunge the economy into serious crisis with devastating hardship.
