Independent presidential candidate speaks on security for candidates



The Ghana Police ahead of the general election, promised to provide adequate security for all presidential candidates.
 
The move is to do away with political vigilante groups that seem to cause problems during election periods.

Not long ago, the service decided to withdraw their men from presidential candidates who failed to meet filing requirements and were disqualified by the Electoral Commission. 

But are independent presidential candidates beneficiaries of the protection provided by the police service.

Rita Amparbin Tetteh finds out from the only Independent candidate in this year's election, Jacob Osei Yeboah whether he is one of the beneficiaries.

Meanwhile Jacob Osei Yeboah is confident of victory come December.  

Mr. Osei Yeboah said, he was able to qualify to contest in the elections by divine providence. 

He told Radio Ghana that, his three contenders have all had the chance to govern the nation and it is about time the electorate looked in his direction for better change.
