Health Minister unhappy with doctors refusing postings to districts 

The Minister of Health, Alex Segbefia has bemoaned the refusal of some doctors to accept postings to the districts. 

He said more than 60 percent of doctors posted, representing two thirds of those posted to district health facilities choose to hang around the cities resulting in many hospitals being manned by single doctors. 

Mr. Segbefia made the point at the opening of the 28th Annual General Conference of the Ghana Medical Association in Ho.
