The paper believes that the election will be a keenly contested one, and, and says it will be watching, to see how candidates conduct themselves. Ghanaian Times commends the Commission for Human Rights and Administrative Justice (CHRAJ) for responding to the request to investigate the Ford Expedition gift to President Mahama by a Burkinabe contractor. According to the paper, besides urging CHRAJ to probe the matter, the public including political party supporters, waded into the debate with varying positions. The Times, however, says if for nothing at all, Ghanaians should be grateful to CHRAJ that it endeavoured to for the first time to investigate a sitting President, for perceived wrongdoing. GBC
