Validated list of DKM customers to be published on Monday The Registrar – General’s Department which is the official liquidator of DKM Diamond Microfinance, says it will now publish the list of validated creditors of the microfinance company from Monday October 3. According to the Registrar-General, publishing of the names had to be suspended due to logistical challenges. Acting Registrar – General at the Registrar – General’s Department, Jemima Oware, who made this known further explained that the department will use Monday to publish the notices at all branches of DKM and all the designated areas where the customers submitted their claims. She said the department, is going to use the whole of next week to ensure that the creditors go to their branches and check their names and banks to receive their money. Mrs. Oware, added that payment of cash owed customers would commence in the second week of October. She said three banks GCB Bank, ADB Bank and Fidelity Bank are designated banks that will pay but GCB Bank is the bank that is ready at the moment. She said they will soon complete negotiations with the other banks. She however said that customers who are owed by the company but do not see their names on the list should be patient since the process of verification is still ongoing. The payments are to be made over a period of time at designated branches of recipient banks, including GCB. Depositors whose names appear on the list of validated claims to be pasted at the designated centers are required to proceed to the designated branches of the recipient banks with their Passport, Driver’s Licence, NHIS card or Voter I.D for identification and collection of their money.
