Family of late Dr. Mary Grant call on President Mahama

The family of former Politician and Ghana's first female Council of State member, Dr. Mrs. Mary Grant has called on President John Mahama, to officially announce her death and funeral arrangements.  

Leader of the delegation, General Edwin Sam, said Dr. Mary Grant will be buried on the 21st of October in Accra.  

The Former Statesman died two weeks ago at the 37 Military Hospital.  

She held many positions including the Minister of Education and Culture, Deputy Minister of Health and Member of the Provisional National Defense Council, PNDC.
