The Daily Graphic is calling for more stakeholder engagements with the EC. It says Political parties have had issues with the EC lately and the most recent is the battle raging between the Electoral Commission and the PPP over filing fees for the 2016 elections. The Paper appeals to the EC not to play sovereign but endeavour to operate strictly within the confines of the law in order to avoid disruption of programmes geared towards the December 7 election. The Graphic says more engagements will enable stakeholders to sing the same tune for Ghana to once again have a free and fair election. 
                        
The Ghanaian Times expresses regret at the confusion that has erupted at Kpenoe, Takla and Hidzo between the Chiefs and the MP for Ho Central, Benjamin Kpodo over the construction of roads which link the three towns to Ho. According to the paper, though they appreciate the haste with which the MP rushed to the community to help solve the problem, it also thinks that the communities have legitimate concerns, hence must not be described as unnecessary. The Times calls on the MP to listen to the concerns of the people and support them to get the roads fixed. The Paper also urges the Chiefs to refrain from threats and activities that could jeopardise the implementation of development projects for their area as they present their legitimate concerns.
