The Daily Graphic urges Ghanaians to heed to calls by the IGP to ensure that this year's election are conducted in a peaceful manner. The paper cautions all that any form of misunderstanding or violence can escalate into a major setback with ripple effects across the country and recommends that any confusion at the polling stations be settled before it gets out of hand. Polling station officials should not show any bias at the centres that can lead to misunderstandings or confusion. The Graphic urges the IGP and his men to be alert and be available at all needed venues during the election while stressing the need for personnel to exercise their duties with care and diligence. 

The Ghanaian Times reminds Ghanaians to note all the promises being outlined by the various political parties during the electioneering and hold them accountable to them when they are given the mandate. According to the paper, the period where voters did not care about promises on the campaign trail should be a thing of the past and urges voters to be on the lookout for these promises and how they will impact on their lives.
