IDEG advocates increase in District Assemblies common fund

The Institute of Democratic Governance (IDEG), has appealed to Parliament to critically examine the common fund for the District Assemblies and increase it from 7% to 15% of total revenue.

This came to light when a Senior Research Fellow of the institute for Democratic Governance, Kwesi Jonah, spoke to our correspondent Stephenson Aggrey after a Civic Forum Initiative in Takoradi in the Western region. 

The forum afforded the Institute, the opportunity to highlight screening of the Democratic devolution documentary and road map to the constitutional amendment process to the participants.
