Misuse of agrochemicals in Ghana alarming - Experts 

The misuse of agrochemicals in the country is becoming alarming. 

Some farmers apply the chemicals a few days to harvesting the produce while some spray on the day of harvesting. So, buying vegetables for instance that look appealing may be dangerous.  

Plantwise, a global programme, that uses local Agriculture Extension Officers, is helping farmers to use integrated farming practices as the first option in addressing crop pest infestation.
