President Mahama disputes Ghana's economic index on downturn impression 

President John Mahama stunned the audience and participants at an African US business forum when he quickly corrected an inaccuracy in a question posed by the Moderator that sought to suggest that Ghana's economic index is looking very bad.
 
The President's effort to explain the current situation attracted cheers and loud applause from the guests.
 
President Mahama was speaking at an African US Business Forum with panelists including his South African Counterpart Jacob Zuma on the margins of the UN General Assembly in New York.

Their discussion revolved around "Shaping the 21st century African workforce".
