Credit unions advised to adhere to core principles


Co-operatives Credit Unions have been advised to adhere strictly to the nine principles of cooperatives in their operations. 

The principles include non-discrimination, building financial stability, open membership and social responsibility. 

The General Manager of Ghana Co-operative Credit Union Association, CUA Nana Kwesi Agyapong gave the advice in a message read on his behalf at the Annual General Meeting of Wa Community Co-operative Credit Union at Wa.
