Upper East: Residents bemoan deplorable state of roads

Residents in the Upper East Region say the deplorable nature of the roads linking all the 13 districts in the region is undermining agriculture and affecting economic and effective healthcare delivery. 

However, in an interview with the Upper East Regional manager of Feeder Roads, Elorm Nyouagbe, he said plans are advanced for all the roads that were affected by the torrential rains in July to be worked on. 

He said in the interim, emergency measures will be put in place to manage the situation.
