Two judges sue GJA for crowning Anas best journalist

Embattled High Court judges, Justice Paul Uuter Dery and Justice Habib Logoh have sued the Ghana Journalists Association and its executives for awarding Anas Aremeyaw Anas with the Best Journalist of the Year for his expose on the judicial bribery scandal.
 
Anas Aremeyaw Anas has also been joined to the suit.

The two Justices who are currently on interdiction for allegedly taking bribes claim that the award given to Anas is unlawful because the Supreme Court has declared the expose as unconstitutional. 
 
Justice Dery has filed several suits at both the Supreme Court and the High Court seeking to nullify the petition filed by Anas for their removal from office.
  
The plaintiffs also contend that the award given to Anas prejudices the outcome of their pending suits before the Superior Courts and therefore amounts to contempt.
  
They are therefore praying the High Court to nullify the Best Journalist award given to Anas and also order its withdrawal.
 
Justice Dery and Justice Habib Logoh further want the court to punish the GJA Executives for contempt and also restrain them from further publishing malicious and defamatory materials about them.
