Election 2016: Filing Fee For Presidential Candidates Cost Gh¢50,000 Presidential nominees of political parties contesting in this year's election are to pay 50 thousand Ghana cedis to enable them to file their nominations. Parliamentary candidates on the other hand are expected to pay 10 thousand Ghana cedis. This was announced at an Inter Party Advisory Committee IPAC meeting in Accra. According to the EC, nominations will be opened on Tuesday, September 13 and close on Thursday, the 29th of this month.
