Labour agitations reduced productivity by 36% - GEA The Ghana Employers Association (GEA) says the relatively hostile industrial climate that hit the labour front last year and this year reduced productivity by 36%. Labour related complaints also increased from 41% in 2015 to 66% in the first half of this year. Chief Executive of the Association, Alex Frimpong said while labour dissatisfaction continues to be the central challenge for both public and private sector workers, common platforms to listen to workers concerns are not available in work places. Mr. Frimpong charged the Trade Union Congress (TUC) to create a more accessible employer concern mechanism in order to achieve work place satisfaction. GBC
