Prof Martey To Tag Members As Partisan The board of the National Peace Council has described as unfortunate, the statement issued by the outgoing Moderator of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana, Rev. Prof. Emmanuel Martey which creates the impression that members of the Council are appointed by the ruling government to serve its partisan interest. The board says the statement sought to undermine the independence and integrity of the National Peace Council whose central objective is to facilitate and develop mechanisms for conflict prevention, management, resolution as well as build sustainable peace. This was contained in statement signed by the Board Chairman of the National Peace Council, Most Rev. Prof. Emmanuel Asante. GBC
