French PM suggests recount of Gabon election results

French Prime Minister, Manuel Valls, says a recount should be held of the votes in Gabon's disputed presidential election.

He says it would be wise to do a recount, but his first priority is ensuring the safety of the 14 thousand French nationals in the central African nation.

Violence erupted in the country following President Ali Bongo's re-election.
