The Daily Graphic calls for adequate warning systems to be put in place to warn people of an impending danger. It says places prone to disasters must be labelled as no-go areas for human habitation. The paper’s call comes as a result of the recent tidal waves that hit some coastal communities in the Volta Region.  The Graphic urges State agencies to team up and develop a warning and rescue system to be used in times such as these. Government officials must also be proactive rather than waiting for disasters to occur and then later visit the communities to show sympathy. 

The Ghanaian Times takes a look at time management in Ghana and Africa as a whole.  It says majority of the public are guilty of the practice and urged all to accept that the practice is bad.  The paper also urges all to resolve to discard the African time mentality. According to the paper, it has almost become a norm rather than exception for invited guests to arrive at functions very late thus delaying activities unnecessarily.  It says many hours are wasted and productive time often go down the drain due to this attitude that has become known as "African Time".   African Time is destroying not only Ghana, but the continent and the country cannot continue to disrespect time.
