Bukom Banku in court for assaulting hairdresser

A case of assault has been filed against popular boxer, Braimah Kamoko also known as Bukom Banku at an Accra District Court.

He has been accused of slapping a hairdressing apprentice for refusing to kiss him.

He is however yet to be put before court. Bukom Banku allegedly also smashed the complainant's mobile phone.

After damaging it, he allegedly told the complainant that her phone was inferior and that he would buy her a galaxy.

According to the charge sheet, on the 11th of last month, Bukom Banku allegedly visited the complainant's salon and held her.

He then requested the complainant to kiss him but she resisted his proposal.

Without any cause, Bukom Banku allegedly slapped her twice and also punched her ribs. 

He then collected her mobile phone valued at GH¢40.00 and hit it on the ground, damaging it.

He has been charged with assault and causing damage but it is not yet clear when Bukom Banku will appear before the Court.
