Tema Port expansion project to begin in October 

The Tema Port Expansion Project will begin on the 1st of October this year. 

The project, expected to be completed in 2019, is valued at 1.5 billion dollars. 

It will expand trade in-flows and links across West Africa.

The Director-General of the Ghana Ports and Harbours Authority, GPHA, Richard Anamoo, speaking at a news conference in Tema, said Meridian Port Services, has secured funds to execute the project.
